The games Mentales 19, 25, 31 are excellent and exciting solo and family entertainment games for quick thinkers, game strategists and mental competitors.
The game Mentales 19 is a valuable training aid for children and seniors with weak memory and is used to learn the rules of the game more easily and quickly.
Game accessories: To play you need a printed game board and, depending on the game board, 18, 24 or 30 game cones (Mentales 19, 25, 31).
Rules of the game: The aim of the game is to reach the target number of the occupied symbols on the straight connecting or circular lines and to clear all but one of the cones on the target number. Before the game starts, the starting number and target number (can also be 2 identical numbers) are determined. Then all number symbols on the playing field, with the exception of the starting number, are covered with cones. If a jumping cone has touched the playing field after the jump, the jump is considered to have been carried out and the jumped over cone must be removed. A jump cannot be taken back. If the player can no longer carry out a jump, the game is over.
What is and what can the game mental do?
The name of the game already describes the essential features of the game.
Mental is a clearing game in which the playing field determines the level of difficulty in terms of mental and strategic performance of the game. You can choose from playing fields with a difficulty level of 19 (easy) and increasing to 21, 25 and 31 with the level of difficulty hard. The numbers on the game points play a rolean important role. These numbers determine the starting jump (this number field is not occupied for the starting jump) and the target jump (this number field must be occupied by the last game cone). This gives the game a new strategic course every time the starting and/or target jump is changed.
The field numbers can also be used to learn the clearing distance from the clearing jump to the target jump, first as a note, then as a location aid for the mental clearing process. In order to complete the entire correct clearing process, a high level of memory performance and concentration is required, depending on the level of difficulty of the playing field.
As Entertainment or family game Each participant needs their own playing field. For entertainment on holiday or for beginners of the game, start without setting a target number and aim to knock down as many cones as possible, down to the last jump cone.

The Mental 19 game board for daily brain training is suitable for children aged 8 and over.

It is important that children should not be forced to play this game. Before a child plays with a start or finish number, they should try to knock down as many cones as possible. For each task that is solved correctly, a small reward (sweets or chocolate) should be given. Little by little, children should be allowed to play with a start and finish number and timekeeping on a playing field of 24. As a result of regular play, these children solve thought processes and mathematical problems more quickly and in a more targeted manner.

Daily pastime with playful memory exercises for seniors with the game Mentales into old age.

For mentally active seniors, a playing field of 19 is too easy and uninteresting after a short time. These seniors are able to play a playing field of 31 (e.g. me at 77 years old) with start and finish numbers in record time. Seniors aged 70 and over should play at least 5 complete clearing rounds on a mental 25 playing field with start and finish number 1 and note the times for each round with a clock. These 5 clearing rounds should be repeated once a month with time measurement. If I as a player myself (or a family member) notice that the times are getting significantly worse or that there are significant gaps in memory in the jump sequence, this could be a first sign of dementia. A medical examination would then be advisable.
