The Mentales 19, 25, 31 games are excellent and exciting solo and family entertainment games for quick thinkers, game strategists and intellectual competitors.
The Mental 19 game is a valuable training aid for children and seniors with weak memories and is used to learn the rules of the game more easily and quickly.
Game accessories: To play, you need a printed playing field and, depending on the playing field, 18, 24 or 30 game cones (Mentales 19, 25, 31).
Rules of the game: The task of the game is to reach the target number of the occupied symbols on the straight connecting or circular lines and to clear away all but one cone on the target number. Before the game starts, the start number and finish number (can also be 2 identical numbers) are determined. Then all number symbols on the field with the exception of the starting number are covered with game cones. If a jump cone touches the playing field after the jump, the jump is considered completed and the jumped cone must be removed. There is no such thing as taking back a jump. If the player can no longer perform a jump, the game is over.
What is and can the mental game.
The name of the game already describes the essential features of the game.
Mentales is a clearing game in which the playing field determines the level of difficulty in terms of mental and strategic performance of the game. You can choose from playing fields with a difficulty level of 19 (easy) and increasing difficulty levels 21, 25 and 31 with a difficulty level. The numbers play on the game pointsan important role. These numbers are used to determine the starting jump (this number field is not occupied for the starting jump) and the target jump (this number field must be occupied by the last cone). This gives the game a new strategic course every time the start and finish jump changes.
The field numbers can also be used to learn the clearing distance from the clearing jump to the target jump, first as a note, then as a location aid for the mental clearing process. In order to complete an entire correct clearing process, a high level of memory and concentration is required, depending on the difficulty of the playing field.
As Entertainment or family game Each participant needs their own playing field. For entertainment on vacation or for beginners of the game, start without setting a target number with the aim of clearing as many of the game cones as possible except for the last jump cone.

Playing field Mentales 19 for daily brain jogging is suitable for children aged 8 and over.

It is important that children should not be forced to play this game. Before a child plays with the start or finish number, they should try to clear as many cones as possible. For every task that was solved correctly, a small reward (candy or chocolate) should be given. Little by little, children's play activities with start and finish numbers and timekeeping should also be expanded to include a playing field of 24. The result of regular play activity is that these children solve thought processes and mathematical tasks more quickly and effectively.

Daily pastime with playful memory exercises for seniors with the mental game into old age.

For mentally active seniors, playing field 19 becomes too easy and uninteresting after a short time. These seniors are able to play a playing field 31 (e.g. me at the age of 77) with start and finish numbers in record time. Seniors aged 70 and over should play at least 5 complete clearing rounds with start and finish number 1 on a Mentales 25 playing field and note the times for each round with a clock. These 5 clearing cycles should be repeated once a month with time measurement. If I as a player (or a family member) notice that times are getting seriously worse or that there are significant gaps in my memory when jumping, this could be the first sign of dementia. A medical examination would then be advisable.
